I believe there is an enormous need for vegan fast food restaurants. This would both allow people who have already chosen a vegan lifestyle to have foods more readily available, and those who may want to become vegan but find it too difficult.
There are so few vegan restaurants with an increasing demand, I feel there is at least a 99% chance that this opportunity would be successful.
I spoke with a person who has followed a totally vegan diet for one year. She believes there is a lack of available plant based foods in restaurants making it very difficult to dine out. She noticed the problem as soon as she made the decision to go vegan. Her primary complaint is that she must pre-plan the majority of her meals, and always have snacks available. She is very frustrated with the lack of options and feels this would greatly improve her lifestyle.
My second interview was with a vegan chef who feels that there has been a definite increase in demand for vegan foods. He has been observing the trend for a few years, and feels that a vegan fast food restaurant if done correctly would be a huge success.
Lastly, I spoke with a friend who has talked about becoming vegan. He feels that if the options were more available he would be more likely to try. He has seen the struggles I face at times with my meals, and thinks the fast food ideal is brilliant.
I feel this opportunity is still something that would be successful, and I believe this idea is backed by the information I gathered in the interviews; however, as important as it is to gather opinions I do not believe you should base business decisions on just feedback. There are many other avenues to explore before diving in to a new business.

    Hi John! I really like this opportunity that you chose. I think it is a very relevant topic for many people today. I really liked the variety of people that you spoke with, one being a current vegan, another being a chef, and the other being someone who is thinking about going vegan. While I am not a vegan, I have a friend who is but switched to being a vegetarian simply because she said it was too hard to be vegan and go out to eat. I definitely think that this opportunity exists. One suggestion I would give is to be a little more specific. I would mention some of the questions you asked each person and show their replies. Overall though, I think you did a great job and really like this opportunity.

    Hi John! I do think this is a fabulous opportunity! Personally, I am not a vegan but I have friends that are. They always have trouble at restaurants and as you said specifically fast food. I can't think of a real venue option that is strictly for Vegans, let alone a fast food option. Creating some sort of option for vegans or aspiring vegans is a great problem to solve.

My background regarding this idea is that I surf, skate, skim, wakeboard, snowboard etc. It would be a dream come true to see this idea come to fruition one day not only because how cool it would be, but also because the board sport industry would be the ultimate career for me. I am offering an alternative to other existing ways of riding a mountain. This gives riders the ability to experience the slopes in totally new way. Solving the problem

The opportunity here is to create an entirely new way to ride the mountains i.e. snowboarding with out binds or any other binding mechanism. The product I am proposing is basically a skateboard deck with more concave on both the nose and tail of the board. The board has potential to have variances depending on the conditions it is meant to be used in. Variances could include things such as groves on the bottom for riding in harder more packed snow such as what you would find at a ski resort or possibly a larger wider board for deep snow that you could find in the back country. The unique aspect of this board would be the breaking mechanism. Basically the idea is to use a traditional ski break system to pair with a Bluetooth device or something of that nature, to where if the board goes out of range of the rider it automatically releases the ski break in turn stopping the board from sliding down the hill.
