failure
Failure is obviously a vital part of growth which cannot be
avoided by anyone. Failure teaches us what not to do and helps us to optimize in
any practice. One personal story I have relating to failure is working out.
Working out is a prime example of failure because that is what one is striving towards while
practicing in essence. In order to grow stronger one must tear their muscles until
the point of failure. For myself getting back into working out was and still is
a very hard task because there is so much failure involved in success, also the
failure is something that never actually goes away rather just evolves into
other failures. With that being said this also exemplifies just about
everything else in life and can be seen as the natural way of progression. If
one does not have and failures facing them they must be complacent.
Hey John,
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about working out and its challenges. Recently, I have undertaken the same thing; I am 30 lbs. overweight so my battle is uphill. The reward is so more "rewarding" (lol) when you flounder and fail and then win. Thanks for sharing and best of luck with the exercise regiment.
